International research workshop organized:
Have co-organized with Dr. P. Bouwknegt, a major international workshop
entitled ``Fractional quantum Hall effect on the eve of the new millennium''
held on August 16-20, 1999 at the National Institute for Theoretical Physics
(NITP) at the University of Adelaide, Australia. There were 6 international
and 8 interstate invited speakers, including Professor J. Bellissard (Universite
Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France). The workshop was sponsored by: Institute
for Geometry and its Applications, NITP, National Research Symposium and
the ARC.
Teaching experience:
Have taught freshman courses in Calculus and Advanced Calculus, University
of Chicago, 1986-87;
From 1990-2000, at U. of Adelaide, have periodically taught B.Sc. (honours)
level courses in Differential Geometry, Algebraic Topology and Analysis
on manifolds;
Guest lecturer at Prof. Singers MIT course, Fall 2000.
