- Roquet
- to cause your ball, by strike of the mallet, to come into contact with
another, either directly or indirectly
- Croquet - to strike
one's own ball when in contact with a roqueted
ball. The player is allowed to place his/her foot on the ball.
- Roquet
Croquet - to croquet a ball without placing one's foot on one's own
ball.
- Ricochet - the act of roqueting two or more balls with one strike of the
mallet. This is the croquet equivalent of a grand slam, and may prove
devastating to the opposition.
- Rover - when playing
doubles or triples, a player may elect, upon passing through all of the
wickets, to postpone striking the starting stake and become a rover to aid
his/her own side, and drive the opposition back.
