The purpose of this seminar is to learn some of the recent developments in the Minimal Model Program. The work of Christopher Hacon, James McKernan and their collaborators have led to major advances in the program. We will read through some of their recent papers.

The seminar will culminate in a two day workshop run by the Clay Mathematics Institute.

The Clay Mathematics Institute will run a two day workshop on MMP

The workshop is scheduled to take place at the Clay Institute 2-5 pm. on Wednesday May 16 and Thursday May 17. Christopher Hacon and James McKernan will give a series of lectures. Corti and Mori will also be in town that week. They will give lectures in the Clay Research Conference May 14-15. For more details please also consult html
