Two-Layer Flows (DOME)


A study of internal hydraulic jumps in two-layer flows has been made, with particular emphasis on the role of the jumps in entrainment and mixing in downslope oceanic flows. A schematic of the mixing process is given in the figure below. A manuscript is available:
